How do I calculate how much wallpaper I need to order?
To determine the number of rolls required, measure the width and height of each wall in feet. Multiply these together to get the total square footage and divide by the square footage listed on the product's roll size. We always recommend ordering 10-15% extra to account for pattern matching and trimming.
Do you offer samples before I commit to a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. Colors can vary significantly between digital screens and physical light. Most of our patterns offer 8x10 inch or memo-sized samples so you can test the texture and color in your specific space.
What is the difference between 'Pre-pasted' and 'Unpasted' wallpaper?
Pre-pasted wallpaper has a dry adhesive on the back that is activated by dipping the paper in water. Unpasted wallpaper requires you to manually apply wallpaper paste to either the back of the paper or the wall itself, depending on the manufacturer's instructions.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Most in-stock items ship within 2-4 business days. However, since many of our designer patterns are shipped directly from the manufacturer, lead times can vary. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.
What is your return policy for wallpaper rolls?
We accept returns on unopened, factory-sealed rolls within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 25% restocking fee. Please note that samples and custom-cut murals are non-returnable. Please contact our support team to initiate a Return Authorization.
What does 'dye lot' or 'batch number' mean?
Wallpaper is printed in batches. Colors can vary slightly between different print runs. When you order from Mahone’s, we ensure all rolls in a single shipment come from the same dye lot to guarantee a perfect color match across your walls.
